The Goomba Comedy Company - Very Funny Stand-Up Comedians !
Special Events From Our Past !

Hello, my name is David DiLorenzo.

For over 30 years I have maintained a career in both Sports Marketing and Professional Radio. I have also traveled the United States performing as a stand-up comedian. I have had so much fun that it all still seems like a dream. When I was 13 years old, I was offered a terrific opportunity to become an 8th grade exchange student in Europe. I lived with my brother and his family in Verona, Italy, just few miles from a U.S. Air Force base. It was a life changing experience and I learned many valuable life lessons during my 11 months abroad. Many of them have helped shaped the person I am today. I cherish every day given to me and all the challenges that come my way. I have had such an incredible life journey, so far. I have recently started to share my journey with hundreds of area high school and college students. I have been a dreamer all my life and can honestly say that most of my dreams have come true. When you stop dreaming, you stop living.

I have had the pleasure of working with and learning from many
of the brightest sports athletes and marketing executives during the past 25 years. During my career I have performed with hundreds of the most popular stand-up comedians of all-time. Legendary comics like Rodney Dangerfield, Pat Cooper, Lenny Clarke, Joe Piscopo, Paul D'Angelo, Robert Klein, Tom Cotter, Frank Santorelli, David Brenner, Jimmie J.J. Walker, Joe Rogan, Bobby Collins and Steven Wright.

From 1997 to 1999, I worked as a narrator with NFL Films, (pictured with the late Steve Sabol, president of NFL Films).
I performed on 30 videos as a voice-over, including 14 different players inducted into the NFL Hall of Fame, in Canton, Ohio. During that time I also performed stand-up comedy at numerous NFL events with hundreds of former NFL Hall of Fame players, including Jim Brown, Gale Sayers, Mike Ditka, Don Shula, Joe Namath, Willie Lanier, Mike Haynes, Joe Green, Deacon Jones, Raymond Berry & Terry Bradshaw, among other greats !

Here is David DiLorenzo on the Jumbo Tron scoreboard, singing the National Anthem, celebrating "Rhode Island Day" on Saturday, May 11, 2013, at Fenway Park. The Red Sox played host to the Toronto Blue Jays. David, who is best known for his comedic talent, impressed everyone with his amazing voice. Since Toronto was the opponent, David sang the Canadian National Anthem, as well.

Heather Abbott, from Newport, RI was also there to throw out the first pitch. She was one of the survivors of the terrible tragedy at the Boston Marathon, on April 15th. To see the video of David's performance on YouTube - just click the link below.

David has been branching out into acting. He can already be seen in a hysterical web series, on YouTube, called "Bread Butter & Bullets". He will be appearing in a very funny, new program being filmed now in New York, for NETFLIX, called "The Italians"
David's charater, "Skinny Lanetti is based on of the characters he played in a hysterical reality show based in Tampa, Florida, called "The Wise Guy Kitchen". That show was about a Mob Boss gone straight and became a TV Cooking Show Host. He also had a role in a very funny web series called "Ghost Shrink"...Filmed on Cape Cod in January, 2014 ...This mystical ghostly comedy is the brainchild of two of Hollywood's funniest actors/comedy writers, Fia Perera and Dava Krause. Here is the "Pilot Episode" - with a great cast of very spooky friends...Look for David as "The Inn Keeper"...
